Jamie Oliver’s TED Prize wish: Teach every child about food
This is important, and it’s SAD that we’ve lost all this after a few generations being raised on fast food and not being taught to cook. Give this video a look, Jamie Oliver from a TED 2010 talk, and then consider what changes you may be able to make to stop this epidemic.

Hats off to Jamie - it’s a noble ambition and might even be achievable with his media and social backing. Who knows though - maybe there’ll always be a generation of kids ‘who get handed burgers through the railings’ !

Glad to see people promoting this initiative. Not only is cooking healthier for ourselves, it helps sustain local farms, creates valuable jobs that contribute meaningful value to society, and weens us off of reliance on unhealthy, unregulated businesses for our most basic needs. Cheers to Jamie Oliver and cheers to Gearlive.

Cakes can be made from white chocolate, which tastes sweet and is very rich and smooth, almost with a melt-in-your-mouth quality.
