Check out this fantastic video, made by the Society for Geek Advancement. A bunch of my friends are featured in it, which makes it doubly awesome. I agree, whole-heartedly, with the message set forth!

SMC Seattle April 09: Andru Edwards talks social media
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Business, Technology, Videos
I hit up yesterday’s Social Media Club meetup (co-hosted by SEOMoz), and talked with a bunch of interesting people who had a lot of questions for me. Of course, my friend Kenji Onozawa happened to be on hand, and busted out his Creative Vado so that he could shoot a quick interview. We talk about the Seattle tech scene, Gear Live, and Seattle Mind Camp in this video.

Video: Steve Jobs gives 2005 Stanford Commencement Address
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Business, Videos
Just had to share this. Many think Steve Jobs is a robotic overlord in a massive technology sub-culture. While that may be true, he is also part human apparently, and he shows it beautifully at this commencement address at Stanford in 2005, telling three stories from his life and the lessons he learned from them. Worth watching.
With all the talk surrounding the 2008 DNC, I came across this video of a speech that New York Governor Mario Cuomo gave at the 1984 convention. It was too good not to share. You have any favorite speeches from history you wanna share?
Love this Shift Happens video, which focuses on the size of things. The world we live in is expanding at such a rapid pace in so many areas, and it is amazing to stop and think about what exactly is going on around us. From the population, to the vast amount of information that is available at the tip of your fingers at a moments notice. If you haven’t seen the video, I urge you to take a look.
